...Or as my brother calls it, my Magritte rip-off.

In my class we were assigned an artist to examine and then use their style in a drawing of our own. I don't think I did it very well, but the big part was the vertical horizon outside the window. Oh yes, and those are supposed to be marbles on the floor. :o


I don't like the picture much...

Magritte lives! There is a simple but functional movement to this piece, as the eye goes from the chair to the window and then the little marbles. Very subtle, clever way to fill space, that.

hehe, that would've been cool. Could've put it way in the foreground. would've helped with the flow more than the marbles, too.
